Today I woke up and I had one drooping eyelid! help!?

Yesterday my left eyelid slightly hurt but I ignored it and today I woke up and my left eye felt heavy so i looked in the mirror and i saw that it was slightly drooping! And I am not old so my muscles can't be over-exercised or whatever. I was not born like this. My parents have never had this so its not like anything genetically. What the heck do I do???

My brother is my enemy, what should I do?

He is older than me, and treated me as an enemy from the beginning, since we were little. When our father died, he divided his huge property in two, and left me the worse part (less profitable, and when the property was landed - too tered and not handy to supervise). My brother, his favourite, got the better. I went away to live on my property, and thought that his enmity would p, or at least that he would not bother me. Not so. He quarreled with a powerful man, Hunald, and wanted me to participate in the quarrel, on his side, of course. I refused. I wanted to mind my own business. My brother won the fight with Hunald, and it made him very popular with my employees. He is constantly conspiring with them now, looking for a way to hurt me or maybe even take my property from me. Our mother, Bertrada, sides with him, as he is her eldest "golden boy". She came to visit me at Seltz, and talked about forgiveness and brotherly love and such, and then helped my brother to marry Desiderata, a girl whose parents' property is right next to mine. Now his property and those of his parents-in-law encircles mine, and it's even easier for him to regulate prices, spread discontent among my employees and so on. I feel helpless against their tactics - there is nothing I can legally dispute, yet my brother is fighting an underhand war with me, using underhand means. What should I do?

How to recover from this running injury?

I am currently suffering from a running injury, and am getting better at the moment. What I am currently worried about is recovery. I am on a high school team and it is very competitive. Before this injury I was one of the top runners, and now that I have gotten worse due to my injury, a lot of the people on my team have gotten better at the same time. So basically, once I start running again, I want to know if there is any way I could catch up to them again. What should I do to heal a lower back sprain?

My senior year of high school, I sprained a (my doctor thought) ligament in my lower right back. Now, a year later, when I have to lean over or bend, it still hurts. The pain does not radiate anywhere, it is not constant; just when I move in the wrong way. I have thankfully survived freshman year with a weighed gpa of a 4.25 which for some reason put me at a rank of 96 of 506 students, is this crazy? yes I've already answered that myself, My competitive high school sucks and all over-achievers have already established that. however i need some form of reurance that my chances at colleges like UNC Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, University of Virginia, and Davidson are not ruined. I'm not even in the top 10% even though i have a 4.25 i almost cried when i found out. My activites are average, if i continue getting the grades i have now, which i'm pretty sure i will, when the time comes to apply I should have about a 4.78 weighted and a 3.89 unweighted not that i actually spent time calculating that or anything :) anyway my activites are average and i got a 2180 on the SAT which i took early with some other freshman kids in May and will hopefully improve and get higher, what else can i do?

Married but no legal status........?

My husband entered the US on a 90 day holiday visa from England. I met him after he arrived here in the states. He and I spoke to an immigration attorney "before" we got married and he advised us to just let the visa run out, and get married when we wanted to. Pregnant, and starting LPN cles in August...question about maternity leave?

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant, and am starting college in August to get my LPN license. Although the baby wasn't planned, I'm extremely happy and I still fully intend to go to college. (I'm 18 btw) I haven't had my first ultrasound yet. (It's on the 19th of this month) and I should get an accurate due date by then. My EDD as of now in January 17th. The problem is, the program has a strict absentee policy. If you miss more than 5 days, no matter what the cirstance, you get kicked out. I already talked to my instructor and she won't make an exception because I'm pregnant. I'm hoping and praying that my EDD is sometime in December, since there is a month long break from Dec 9th to Jan 9th. My question is, is there, legally, any way to take maternity leave and not get kicked out of the program? It has me so stressed out! I want what is best for my baby, and going to college is best! I'm really worried about needing more than 5 days off to have the baby, especially since my doctor said since I'm so little I may have to have a c-section if the baby is too big...I guess I just need some reurance and advice. :(

3rd dui conviction while in delayed entry program for USMC, can i still enlist?

I acquired 2 dui's one in '04 and one in '05. Pulled myself together, enlisted in the D.E.P(USMC) in Jan 2009. Made the same problematic decision to drive intoxicated after attending a "going away party" with old friends 2 days before my ship date to Paris Island. I now have 3 dui convictions on my record. The Marine Corps will not even consider me. I've come to terms with my problem and the fact that I will never have the chance to earn the title Marine. I have read that the army is not currently offering the type of wavier in need to enlist, but may someday. A local recruiter confirmed this but due to my current probation nothing solid could be discussed, he had very little information on my type of situation. Recruiter #2 from a different state said I would NEVER gain entrance into the Army. My calls temporally stopped with that response (I understand I'm a "risk") . My question is can I still obtain a waiver for any offense if I have defaulted on a D.E.P contract in the past (I could not ship I was in Jail and had a pending charge) due to a violation involving intoxicated driving? Facts about me: I'm 28, in a court ordered treatment program and learning (about 8 or 9 months to go), I'm a certified fitness trainer by trade, I have a high school diploma but no college, and I am pulling myself out of a hole that I started dredging when I turned 21. Am I worrying too much, or could it be dyslexia?

My son recently completed his first year of school, and appears to be having great difficulty reading...he barely ped the "PALS" test but I notice he reverses his b's and d's often...his teacher said that was common at his age...but he also confuses 3's and E's sometimes, and reverses numbers every so often...like he'll tell me the speed limit is 5 3 instead of 3 5. He will often look at a word and "guess"...if it's the word "like" he may blurt out "look"...at the end of this school year his teacher stated that he was having difficulty with "sight words"--the, little, on, come....and rhyming. I think I may be seeing a problem that is not really there...I just see him struggle so much with his reading. My daughter, she is 8, has not struggled with reading and has been above her grade level since she began school. Did I fail him?...Did I not work with him as much?...Did I unfairly think that he would pick up reading as easily as his sister?

I've been living with my roommate since August. When we decided to move in together, she was not dating anyone and I am in a very long distance relationship (he lives abroad). However, just after the semester started, she began dating this guy she met at her summer job. Since he lives about 5 hours away, he often stays for at least 4 days whenever he visits. What she refers to as him being "very shy" often comes of as rudeness, since I have tried multiple times to develop some sort of rapport with him and barely get one word answers out of him. Whenever he stays, both he and my roommate tend to get very messy and never clean up their dirty dishes or wash out the shower. Him staying is a huge distraction for her because she puts off everything to be with him as much as possible, even forgetting to give me her electricity check until a week later. He also spends the whole day in the living room just sitting on the couch and watching Sports Center while messing around on his computer. It also is a problem because the noise interrupts me when I'm trying to study. Because my roommate doesn't have cl as early as I do, they stay up late and are very loud. Last night they woke me up at 3am because he was puking from drinking too much. She later gave me a lame apology but he never said sorry. I've attempted several times to talk about how uncomfortable I am with him staying here for so long (sometimes over a week because he just skips cles to stay here), but she always brushes it off as not being a big deal. I didn't sign up to have another roommate when we moved in and I need to find a way of letting her know just how unhappy this makes me. I like living here, but I can't stand even being in my own apartment when he stays. What should I do? Should I move out?

I have never heard of giving tamoxifen for fertility treatments. I am a RN is that is used for cancer. I would call your MD and tell them that you are not comfortable taking that drug and see if he maybe can prescribe clomid. If all else fails find a new MD. Good luck.

Well, sadley I recently went to Memphis to visit my Sis. & Bro.-in-law but couldn't stay down there for very long, so I haven't gotten to know everything about my Bro.-in-law's Halo: Reach game yet, but as for my my fav. armor ability I would say it's the Hologram. You can send a hologram of yourself so enemies will attack it & not you, (well, that depends, like if there are a lot of foes around you'll likely be attacked by some, but the others will focus on the fake) so you can shoot 'em off guard. A wise plan is that whenever you're out of amo, since your CPU teammates can't be killed, you should let them take out a bunch of foes while you hide, so you can safely move in & swipe a weapon when you need when it's safe. It sounds like maybe their problems are connected in some way. Were they separated at school or are they in the same cl? They may be having separation anxiety. You should volunteer at their school a couple times to get them used to this transition and maybe take your son to the fire department to talk to someone about the seriousness of his problem.

Just a little info about me first: I am 21, married, 5'3 and 152-ish pounds. When i started my weight loss journey i was 202lbs and miserable. I joined Herbal Magic on Sept. 18, 2008 and since have lost 50lbs. Because i am very short i would like to be about 135lbs. That is my goal and i am supposed to be there in two weeks according to Herbal Magic. I am behind schedule. I have lost my motivation and my drive to stay away from bad foods. The diet is easy and works wonders...if you stick to it. That is my problem. Lately the drive to cheat is just there. To help with your hair make sure you are taking multi-vitamins, they are very good for you and even better for your hair. Another good thing I've found was banana's, they are a great source for the protein your hair needs (hair is made out of keratin which is a protein), and yogurt, yogurt is one of my favorite because it not only makes it healthy it makes it grow FAST (too fast, it kinda makes me mad cuz my color grows out too fast). If heredity is not an issue, one good shampoo and cond. is Nioxin, it is a scalp shampoo and cond so what it does is it cleans out your hair follicles and stimulates them for hair growth. Dark scenes look terrible on my HDTV, whats the problem?

I own a samsung 46'' 720p lcd tv. Any time I watch tv, whether it is an HD channel or not, every time there is a dark scene, the picture quality looks spotty and unclear. Okay, so I am a 13 (and a half, ha-ha) and slightly overweight for my height. I weigh 150 and I want to be around 130 or less. I've been avoiding sweets and grains, I never drink sodas, I drink mostly water, and I am reaching for more fruits and yogurt and stuff. Everyday I run around our 1 and a half acre yard, do 10 push-ups, 15 crunches, 30 lunges, and some stretching. I don't have time for much else due to the fact of school, writing a book, pets and my family and social life. I found a few videos I was going to try. But will this even help? Also, back to eating, I am not a picky eater, but I am very sensitive, (My Mom said it's some sort of sensory disorder?) and I cannot hear certain noises or eat certain textures, so a lot of fruits and veggies are out of the picture. I can, however, eat bananas, strawberries and peaches, but I cannot eat things such as apples. Anything suggestions, foodwise?

I would not bet the farm on a drone being able to dog-fight. They will always be a heart-beat behind because there is not a pilot on board. Most dog-fights are not swirling adventures with each pilot trying to out guess and out maneuver each other. The vast majority involve sneaking up from the opponent's six and shooting them from behind. Not exactly chivalry, but quite effective. Most fighter pilots do not realize that they are under attack until a tracer or rocket goes whizzing past their canopy. Then, the frantic maneuvering begins. Occasional antifreeze leak?

The anti freeze is leaking out somewhere. I had a 95 villager and it did the same thing. I found several places. One, was a plug in the radiator that was tightened with the use of an allen wrench. I found another place was the hoses. Not too that cold is different than hot. You may not see these leaks when the car warms up. Like gas leaks, I stick my head underneath the cars hook the very first time when the car starts and I find all kinds of leaks if they're there.

How to feel healthy and energetic?

I am already working out alot, but I have been eating alot of protein (about 180 g per day to try to build muscle) and I just learned that that is really unhealthy, as it can create a buildup of toxins. Basically I don't want to build muscle anymore, I just want to feel healthy, young, and more energetic. What kind of exercise would I do for this? (for example, would I do heavy lifting, or lighter lifting with more reps, or would I do more long-distance running, or more sprints?) And second, what kind of diet should I have to feel this way?

They will serve the paperwork at his last known address and if he doesn't show they put a warrant out for his arrest. Of course where it gets complicated is not knowing where he lives. You can't use the hard tactics on her I guess. By suspending her email account and not allowing her to attend softball games will only make her more rebellious. Instead of trying to control her, do things such as attending her softball games when she's playing to show your support. Punishment obviously don;t work on her. Perhaps if possible you can try getting her mother to talk to her? Or a third party whom she respects. It is easier for them to get some sense into her head than you or your husband. Wow, Hope you don't dream that again. Do you have an overweight friend? I know that seems silly because most of America is overweight. Would you actually fight someone for this friend? I think your dream is telling you that you may have to "go to bat" for a friend and you could come out on the losing end. As far as the girl running away and not helping, that could be the friend that you went to bat for getting hurt because what ever you did, didn't work. Your typical story here. I've kinda liked her off and on over our 6 year friendship, but never bothered to make anything out of it. Picture quality loss on sky?

I have sky+ in my living room but have a coaxal cable going from the box to my tv in the bedroom with the use of magic eye for the remote. The picture used to be ok but not perfect, but yesterday it became like a terrestrial channel picture that hasnt been tuned in right. The only thing that changed is I have a signal booster for the tv in the living room as the tv has freeview on it but it shouldnt effect sky as it doesnt touch the wires for it or the coax going through to the bedroom so why am I losing the picture quality on just that channel and not the others?

All Media on my computer has died!?

Something real big happened to my computer. Lets start with Media Player. Media player will open, but wont play any file at all. Quicktime wont even open at all. VLC player, for flv files, opens and plays everything. Except for two problems, NO SOUND. It is not muted, i plugged my headphones in and no sound (except for the usual low-level white noise telling me my headphones work). I cannot click on the files ociated with VLC. I must open VLC and choose which file to play. BTW, there is no sound at all emanating from my speakers or headphones, it is not just for playing media. This occurance coincides with my interner browsers, both IE and FireFox, crashing everytime i try to load a flash video ie youtube and other such sites. Ive searched around trying to fix the internet browser thing hoping everything else will fall in line but no such luck at all. Is there anybody out there with any kind of advice?

I am in no way friends with my oldest sister. Since I am still living with my parents, I am forced to have some sort of relationship with her. She tends to make drama out of anything and because my parents feel guilty for the cirstances of her childhood, they always agree with her in order to avoid drama with her (ie, her picking up and leaving with the grandkids... again.)
