Wondering about college?

I have thankfully survived freshman year with a weighed gpa of a 4.25 which for some reason put me at a rank of 96 of 506 students, is this crazy? yes I've already answered that myself, My competitive high school sucks and all over-achievers have already established that. however i need some form of reurance that my chances at colleges like UNC Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, University of Virginia, and Davidson are not ruined. I'm not even in the top 10% even though i have a 4.25 i almost cried when i found out. My activites are average, if i continue getting the grades i have now, which i'm pretty sure i will, when the time comes to apply I should have about a 4.78 weighted and a 3.89 unweighted not that i actually spent time calculating that or anything :) anyway my activites are average and i got a 2180 on the SAT which i took early with some other freshman kids in May and will hopefully improve and get higher, what else can i do?
