Is there something like soulmate. am confused and need help?

i am a single woman for the last 8 yrs. was in a loveless marriage and took me long time to recover on the atrocities in the marriage. in these yrs, i have never come across or even taken a step to find any companion. For the last two months, i have been speaking to a colleague in another city, who is married, has two kids, but has drifted apart from his wife however due to financial reasons and for the sake of his kids cannot divorce. we have never met face to face, so there has been no physical contact, just exchanged a few snaps and have been speaking on phone every day. i dont want to settle down with him or for that matter any person, as i have many responsibilities including a kid. however i cant stop my self to be drawn to him. the way he speaks i feel that he is equally drawn to me. is it okay to be connected to a person you have never met. has some one being a relationship like this. is it worth while in retrospective effect. do u think i should continue or should leave it.
