Is the Spanish soccer team a bunch of poor sports or is there something more sinister behind them not shaking?

Their players stomp off the field after US loss. Now they don't even acknowledge RSA after the match. What is their problem? Are they racist or just jerks? South Africa was standing around waiting to shake hands and Spain just walks off.
