Have you heard about the CARMELO A. DEAL?

I heard within the hr or so that Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Knicks. I am in NY and think the Knicks got back some players that are good in addition to Carmelo, which makes losing the players they lost ok. What do you all think of the deal? One thing I haven't heard as of yet on ESPN is if Carmelo has signed for more then one year or will he sign extension after the season? AGAIN WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS OF THE TRADE AND DO YOU KNOW IF HE SIGNED FOR MORE THEN ONE YEAR(THROUGH THIS YEAR-SEASON) OR WILL HE WORK ON NEXT SEASONS CONTRACT DURING THE OFF SEASON? THANKS
