Which 45 is better?

im looking at getting a 45 for defence and for the outdoors and for target. i have looked at tauruses armcor and many other diferent 45s so just pick betwwen a glock 21 in a slim model do theres not a big grip or a springfeild 1911. both cost about 600. betwwen the 2 which would u get and why. and im not a begginre so i can handel the 1911 version becuase some people say its hard for begginers
