How to prevent and cure excess hair dropping and what is its cause?
You are suppose to loose appx 100 pieces of hair a day if thats not the case, first you are going to want to look at any medication you may have started on recently, thyroid medication and thyroid problems are a big one for hair falling out. Second, check your genes, doesn't hair loss run in your family, very rare in female. Third, have you been under any extra amount of stress, stress is VERY critical in your hair, if you are under a great amount of stress/depression, your hair will fall out more. If none of these how about your diet, has it changed? If you are dieting and exercising you will be loosing your hair, but once your body becomes more stable so will your hair(as long as you are eating healthy). To help with your hair make sure you are taking multi-vitamins, they are very good for you and even better for your hair. Another good thing I've found was banana's, they are a great source for the protein your hair needs (hair is made out of keratin which is a protein), and yogurt, yogurt is one of my favorite because it not only makes it healthy it makes it grow FAST (too fast, it kinda makes me mad cuz my color grows out too fast). If heredity is not an issue, one good shampoo and cond. is Nioxin, it is a scalp shampoo and cond so what it does is it cleans out your hair follicles and stimulates them for hair growth. It includes numerous treatment to go along with it, all you may need is the cleanser, scalp therapy, and the follicle booster, but ask a stylist when you are looking at it.
